the frame finally arrived. i have now more photos of it. it really has interesting tubes. most of the tubes seem to have some sort of aero shape. and i think it has an eery similarity with a losa professional i found online.

It's a Losa beautiful frameset disguised as Sancineto.

hm. i don't know what i should feel about that. those are the exact pictures from the auction site i bought the frameset from......what are the authors information based on? since the design stifu has been seen on some other swiss respray framesets....

Isn't that the same frameset?

Of course we can't rule out a collaboration but why? Sancineto had all the time to build frames himself and of high quality. Low volume for high quality seemed the motto.

yes those are the exact photos from the auction site.
i do think that design stifu was some sort of respray shop in Switzerland.....

Yep that collaboration claim could be questionable since no real sources, maybe just false interpretation by the site author. Did notice those exact same photos so just wanted to share
Very nice frame in any case!

The referred to web page is mine and consists mainly of user contributed images and information. I am a Sancineto owner and created the page since there is so little info available on the marque. Nothing is written in stone and I am constantly updating the site as new information comes in. It is simply an aggregation of photos and a little info to help others identify something about their own Sancineto. Another update is in the works as I have some new information to add to the resource.
Any helpful contributions are appreciated. Thanks!

Hah, you even have my old one on your site (shit pics, I know)
fyi, your dating might be slightly off, it's got 9 speed Ultegra on it, although probably not original (at least the shifters) -

Thanks, I also noticed that Altec tubing was released in 1998 so that also puts it later.

Going to open a project thread, but I definitely need a 17 degree stem.
White or black?
Spacers in silver or black (with black stem)?
