I mean, sure. The thing for me is that the name just really isn't a good look, especially when you have to say it out loud. I don't want to be a huge killjoy or anything, but I don't think it reflects especially well on the forum. The culture here has usually seemed pretty on top of social justice, so I'm surprised the 'HHSB' name hasn't really come under much scrutiny.

i mean i think that speaks to the obvious disconnect between the word 'slave' and its historical meaning versus its meaning here. not like it is genuinely confusing. nor do i think you can cast the use of hip-hop here in a negative light without trying.

Is the 'slave to fashion' thing well understood though? It's not explained at the beginning of any of the various HHS threads. Not that I think that especially matters - 'slave' just looks bad next to 'hip hop' (which, I agree, is fine).
