Got it done, and ridden. It’s the most extravagant thing I’ve ever owned but holy shit it’s good. Took it out through the filth to stop being precious about the thing.

Love it. Those Corimas are perfect.

Fanks!
Yes were you watching them? I think the distributor Yellow ltd are having a clear out. They’re brand-spanking, I feel like I’ve nicked them.
That and the chain-suck chipped frame and the 33% discount Groupset from Germany, it’s come in alright. Still more than my car but that’s doing it right isn’t it? -

proper dentist build that is for sure, but kudos for keeping the clincher rim brake alive !
the groupset i am not a fan of generally, but it looks better than i thought on this build -

How much / where is the SRAM from?

Bike-24. £2200. I found it difficult to find any groupset in just the right combo anywhere. This was the only one in stock with rim brake, the right cranks, right cassette etc. No top end Shimano groupsets or Record 12 to be found. I went for this one as to me it’s the most advanced technology-wise right now and I’d like to have it a year or two before it’s old news.

I'd rather not. Can we direct your attention to other silly wheels? Hed3, Corima etc...Aerospokes if you must.

Surely there must be some dangerously old Corimas on eBay, or maybe a pair of Mavic 3Gs? So many more stylish ways to have a component catastrophically fail on you.

Look MTB’s- any good?

Got the 795 and its not too bad. Its best used with di2 or etap. That way theres no cBle changes. I have mine built with 1x record 11 speed because when the fd cable frayed it just came out. Because the rd cable has a awkward route the record mech could never shift properly until i fitted the maximum smoothness cable. Its awesome bike though.
The 785 huez rs is also something i own and its awesome too. Look only know awesome, it seems. Dammit, never tried there MTB's.

Spinergy and 'guards though...

Blatant spam, will be listing this small KG241 for sale soon. Birmingham based, no box or idea when I would get one so a (socially distanced) collection best for now. Any local interest pm me but I will do a proper ad soon.

My question is that for a road bike that epitomises impractical aesthetics over functionality, why stick on mudguards that undercut all your other hardwork? It's like designing a beautiful Brutalist inspired concrete building and then demanding all the sign work is printed in comic sans

They're pretty easy to take off, no? If the bike is just for display, sure. But if you're gonna ride it even a few times in winter, mudguards are kinda nice to have. You're not stuck with them forever.
Feel like I ought to know about golf now I’ve got one.
