I'll probably travel to Sweden, Germany, Italy, and India for work trips. I'd like to continue on to Japan for a couple of weeks there, and I may as well continue that direction and stop in Canada on the way back home.
This won't be soon though... these aren't things to do once I am vaccinated, they are things to do when the majority of those countries are vaccinated and India may prove to be the one to skip on that list.

even as a left leaning forum the first thing people want to do is really increase the carbon footprint by flying everywhere!
^ this is coming from someone who only sees family once a year too.

Interesting point. Would be a good time to push for increased emissions controls on airlines, in exchange for the tax breaks etc they’ve been getting. The only way to stop the tidal wave of travellers coming in the next 1-2 years is if airlines go bust before that. Otherwise I don’t see a way of preventing it.

Edit- not discounting your point though, it’s food for thought

A really good night out with the missus without The Fear hanging over us. Maybe dinner at Berners Tavern then drinks wherever looks/sounds good.
And a holiday somewhere warm and windy where I can kitesurf without a wetsuit for a couple of weeks; Mauritius has been on the bucket list for some time so maybe there.

Go drinking in an underground, poorly ventilated bar ( maybe Bradley’s Spanish Bar or Gordon’s). Go to a gig in a small sweaty venue and sing and shout . Hug people. Get the ferry to Spain.

Figured we could use a more positive COVID thread, especially with Pfizer’s vaccine set to roll out imminently in the UK and the potential end of Covidlife. Feel free to make assumptions here, the thread is about sharing positivity.
1- Organise for my younger siblings to visit from overseas.
2- BBQ and beers in the park with friends.
3-Trip to somewhere warm.
