this is what i do. i am curious to swap (in both chases) to bars about that width (or maybe 2cm narrower) but with a 12ish degree flare like the enve aero bars.

ron comes storming in, pushing nam out the way, mateo and balls are chuckling in their chairs, room misty with the devils lettuce and toffee apple vape
r: what the fuck is all this? i go out for one 400k jaunt on my gravel wagon to pick up 50's chicks, get back and you are all sitting around doing nish?!?
balls laughs
mateo looking at balls laughing, also chuckles
r: will someone please explain the fucking joke?!
m: you tell him balls starts giggling again
b it's probably easier if i show you ronnie
balls types "#towelrack" into Instagram discover and turns the screen to ronnie, his face lifts and he straightens his back, grabbing the largest doobie one has ever seen from mateo
r: i cant believe those stem lord dweebs bought it
roaring laughter all round
r: i mean, we litterally sold them a bit of heating pipe bent at both ends saying it was trendy
hugest exhale you've ever seen
b: my guys got their arms out like super man on the ncn52, clipping the heads off small children and labradors
m: my man got fucking bars longer than his seat tube, all because he cant stand coding on some trading estate in milton keynes
many struggling to breathe
r: alright guys, everyone into the vw we're getting naked down the creek

I went from 38cm road bars to 44cm 12deg flare Easton gravel bars. They both work. The wider option is almost certainly better for actual gravel riding. I don't feel any disadvantage on the road. The flared drops still feel weird to me and I don't use them so much (but also, who's riding around on the drops most of the time except people with a bad bike fit or whatever).

LOL @ 100% DBAD and complete rejections of silly SID gravé forks

Bearclaw just introduced a new bike apparently
Unlike other drop bar fat bikes you can find online, the TŌWMAK
features true gravel bike geometryhttps://bikepacking.com/news/bearclaw-towmak-hardtail-mountain-bike/

I added the DBAD question in response to a comment so there's only two replies so far. I think people should be able edit their responses if desired
But 12/12 SID rejection is funny

100% agreement on the suspension question...
Congratulations young Gravé Knight, you have succeeded where many have fallen: LUFGUS is in agreement.

Excellent, but you forgot 'Should the gravel thread be cast into the abyss, where it belongs?'

44cm 12deg flare Easton gravel bars
I have these. I'm basically in the drops on even-the-slightest downhill - feels very safe n comfy. Easton foam bar tape is very comfy/squishy too. Recommended.

We already know the answer to that
-
• #14496
Yeah, maybe going downhill off-road, but on-road it still feels odd. The deeper GRX hoods make it nicer descending or riding rough stuff and staying on the hoods.

Please post your niner. For the sake of the thread

Dynamo / graveaux thread crossover.. trying out the enigma grv fork with internal routing. Bit of a unicorn with caliper light mount and plenty of clearance.

Can you enlighten me how a bad bike fit makes you ride in the drops?
Went from 46 to 60 and do not regret.
