like that. But having a dangle mug is the equivalent of wearing a snap back cap.

Suntour 🙁

Don't be a snob. Suntour make some good forks, just as Rockshox make some poor ones

What is the clearance with those tyres. I was going to get Donnelly 2.0 but those seem to be a bit better...

I did the Dave Yates build your own frame thing way back in the distant past. My fixed commuter frame was the epitome of svelte minimalism. The other guy building a frame that week chose to add every bottle / cage / pump / mud guard / other mount in the catalogue (including some of his own specials). 2 days to rush the tubes and then 3 days putting bosses on the thing. Nice.

Hahaha I'm sure he's deep in the pages of bikepacking.com looking for accessories as we speak :)

The clearance is a bit tight with AKA 27.5x2.2, especially around the seatstay bridge, but enough for the dry stuff. I have now mounted some Mezcals in 2.1, which are just perfect. The rims are 30mm wide internally, but both tyres remained true to size.

I was looking forward to riding my new bike with a quick removal of bell, steerer cut and some other minor tweaks. But no, full cut and re-bleed of hoses and re-indexing joy. The state of them.

Get rid of the track bar for wider one.
-
• #14449
There now follows a brief intermission, where everyone will discuss the merits ( and obvious superiority ) of their chosen width of bar
Thank you for you patience

Wide bars are a fad. I'm sticking with 40s, don't @ me
#hippyisalwaysright Cool 8-)
I still wanna go 46T on mine but subcompact cranks + powermeter are what I really want to try out. Time to build a hardtail :)
