Ah that’s interesting. Andy isn’t a short lad. My wife is 168cm. Maybe it’ll be ok.
Do I wait around for a more modern machine that’s less steezy, or just take the plunge and go full quill stem leather saddle red wine in the bidon?

Yeah, plunge. If tandeming works out for you then you can get something newer and better later, and if it doesn't then you might as well find out on something which has already done all the depreciating it's going to do.

On older tandems, yes, but people coped. If you want a 700mm seat pitch, you're going to be shopping in the 21st Century. The one you're being offered is as long as my trackdem, and we squeezed @umop3pisdn into that space 🙂
