I took up all the carpets today. Now I have to find a way to get rid of 60sqm of carpet and underlay. Was quoted £275 by one company, which seems very steep to me. HWRC would take them for free, but I don't have a car. Local council not doing bulky council items as they're backed up due to covid.
We will hopefully be redoing our kitchen in spring of next year. Would it be bizarre to hold onto them until then, and then get a mini skip and bin everything together? Or will I be equally shocked by the cost of skip rental?
