I also thought engine management light is a straight MOT fail? Bit odd they drove it 30 miles to retest the next day but ignored the reasons for failure. Did they just take it to a different test centre or something?
Yeah, baffling that one - only thing I can think is that it had sat for a while and a road test was suggested to unbind the calliper... but then why would you MOT it rather than get someone to just check the brakes.
