• Should I get a 2001 p38 - Japanese import, immaculate, would fit orange lenses and leave as is - cost £6k
    OR
A 1995 Range Rover classic 1995 that’s had older bumpers and wheels fitted and resrprayed heritage green for £9k
Either will be only car- try to preserve them bear I can and only do 3k miles a year

  • The newer one every time, unless you intend to go off-road. One will be refined, comfortable and pleasant to be in, the other less so with the added bonus of unnecessary big wheels and tyres that will rumble like a tractor.

Fuck it, I am officially old....

  • Late to this party but the classic has Land Rover wheels instead of the proper Rostyle types, and the front bumper is not from a Range Rover. So what else have they messed up?

3.9s are more reliable than 4.6s from what I have heard, but the Japanese one looks excellent. The classic will not depreciate, however.
