I think you are right... been trying to work out who it is.

It was Tristram Shapeero, not Matthew Vaughn: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-55056274
(I bumped into that Claudia Schiffer while watching Kingsman filming. Very tall.)

Just saw that and came here to edit. Teach me to believe a twatter pile-on.

That ought to do it. Only a fail if you end up bending the frame because it's too stuck in to budge, surely
-
• #25759
Who's that stood behind your new lever?
-
• #25760
How'd it go?
-
• #25761
Also, are you tightening that?
-
• #25762
Whoever it is they're terrifying. Little googly eyes all over the place
-
• #25763
Are you pulling down on that bar? Is that the fail?
-
• #25764
Big crack. Thought it was the sized corroded alloy , or the frame, but no. I snapped my BB tool into 4 pieces.

Lol

Good effort!

So yeah once I've bought a new tool, I'll try the drive side.
-
• #25769
Gaffa tape will sort that.
Impressive destruction.
-
• #25770
That's what I thought, pull down is usually easier.

As the front wheel is in the air there’s not much to push against.
I think he’s going to need a bigger lever now. -

Can I recommend giving your adjustable a good sharp whack with a club hammer to break it free. BFO bar has its place, but big torque often bends and breaks things, while a sharp hit usually breaks the hold. Also, bolt the tool into the bb axle because it’ll hold it tightly in the splines.

This especially.

Always, although I've always had more luck with just big ol' lever.

Yeah I turned the whole set up round for the tool breaking effort.
