From what I understand 2.1 allows 4K 120fps and 8k 60fps. But is that all it’s needed for? Is 2.0 enough for the Ray Tracing, dynamic graphics stuff provided the TV has 4K HDR?
What??? 2.1? Not 2?? Fuck.... I need a new TV now. I was quite happy til you said this.

Yeah, you'll need 2.1 for VRR and above 60fps at 4k but everything else will work fine on 2.0. Resolution scaling is done in-game.
