Is that. A Warco bench lathe? Your dad's is it? Any good?

Yeah, it’s a combi lathe and mill. It’s definitely useful but also definitely has its limitations. It’s no good for parting off for example. It’s a bit poorly toleranced so you get a lot of backlash and flex in things.

I reckon he should have patched the mill bit and gotten a better spec lathe.
