The front rim for the Omnium showed up the day before we leave for 5 weeks in Canada. Something to look forward to on the way home :)

ps, switzerland isnt in the fucking eu, now i know.. paid half the rims cost in fees :/

I've got two sets of the cheaper ones there (in black). There actually surprisingly good. I only bought them for pub/beater bikes so wasn't too worried about looks.

Tektro ones look much nicer tbf (albeit at 6 times the price).

Got the front wheel built for the omnium, and had a good day out with the little guy.

All i need to do now is set up the front brake / fit the longer hoses.

Cranks will be swapped for some old rotor agilis.
Im a bit in doubt about the cockpit.
Think i might go for a pair of nitto bullmoose.

And ebay Ti bolts ♡ the originals were shit and stripped the hex hole in no time because they were the low button top design

Yea the GT is still one of my favourites, but its about due for new bearings in the rear hub and a few other changes.

It's half built, collecting dust in my attic to be honest.. I've had lots of other stuff to work on in between.

Had it out for a short spin with a few things i needed to change, shorter stem, different bars brakes and cranks. Insanely light though!
