Whist browsing the web for pictures of the Jones bars I came across this. Not exactly attractive looking, but gives an idea of how the Merckx frame I posted earlier could look like, although the seat tube angle on this is even slacker.

Looks like the kind of bike my 7 year old daughter draws.
Love it!

I saw someone riding a semi-recumbent like that a few weeks ago, it looked pretty comfy. Mike burrows is an advocate of this kind of design for city bikes, too.

Here is another one. This time with drop bars. They are called Rans Bikes by the way.

Found this up for sale. Badly want it even though it is 2 sizes to small and a 4 hour drive away.

Thought I would post a picture of the Kestrel with the 3G's, before selling them on again. They were something of a spur of the moment purchase. Didn't really think the whole tubular thing through in that moment. Just doesn't seem very pratical though.

Instead I bought these :)
Not much information on these online, but they appear to be first generation Mavic Cosmic Carbone wheels.

I particularly liked the softride tandem. That is bonkers.

Hot damn, I know my way around older MTBs but I've never seen this. Pity about the size, it's really cool.

+1, sick name too.

It's too bad they never made a clincher. 3Gs are the best-looking trispokes, in my opinion.

Don’t know why, but I always thought 3gs look shit when people had them on their sweet skinny tubed steel fixies, but they look amazing on a 396 (especially on a yellow frame, with the yellow decals on the wheels of course). Not quite sure why but it feels like the taper on the spoke doesn’t balance right with a lot of frames.
Pizza life HED3* for me all the way tho ;-)
*I vaguely remember seeing people reprinting decals using the specialized font so it said pizza life. This may have actually been a dream. The other variation was simply scratching the IZ off so it said SPECIAL ED.

Wow! Just wow!

I'm torn between these three

For the Kestrel? The Fir's wavy spokes would suit the wavy frame I reckon, but I love all 3 tbh.
Those older 3g decals are super nice as well. Never seen those before.

Deffo the Fir!
As @nefarious said, matchy spoks ftw.

Those disc brakes are totally bonkers and super cool! Love weird old bits like that.
