I have six Arlo cameras dotted around the house and its perimeter. They work. I caught a burglar trying to break in and scared him off by switching the alarm on. Footage was sent to the police who had him locked up. I chose Arlo over Nest or Ring as the cameras are wireless (rechargeable batteries) but my neighbour went to the trouble of wiring in his Ring cameras and the image quality is definitely better. I would definitely go for a subscription of some sort.

Was all ready to pick up the Google Nest jobs but don't really fancy paying a subscription... What should I be looking for/avoiding? Totally new to this...
