Home security cameras, talk to me...

Was all ready to pick up the Google Nest jobs but don't really fancy paying a subscription... What should I be looking for/avoiding? Totally new to this...

I was looking at the amazon blink. No subscription and runs on AA battery. Couldn’t find out if it works in my region though (Sweden)?
