Oh sweet summer child - This is all we had for hydraulic drop bar options until a just few years ago.

FWIW they don't look nearly so bad when they are tucked under a stem.

Am I the only one not hating the painted brake levers?

Yes.

I love that they spunked all the money on the paintjob so they couldn't afford to replace the lever that's clearly been down the road or even the hood on it.

Also, that Bonty stem looks straight off a £400 Trek mtb and the masking/paint finish around the nds crank bolt looks like it was done by a blind 5 year old.

Occasionally there's ugly bikes but this is something special. A combination of extreme attention to detail and extreme lack of attention to detail. That his OS pulley looks bigger than his cassette is lovely too.

I'm transfixed. One of the 'best' bikes ever posted on here.
