  • Are you buying an old roll-top? If so they're a real pain to manoeuvre upstairs and it takes some time to find nice taps/fittings for them (if needed), but otherwise no problems at all and they keep the water hotter for longer!

We got ours for £80 from down towards Brighton, bargain.

  • I was thinking old roll top at first but thinking going modern now, maybe... do you have tiles all the way round? I feel they shouldn't be needed and would prob look nicer without?

  • Our bathroom has a roll top with feet - it's a no from me. Bad use of space and more of a pain to clean.

That said I would deffo go for an ex.t stand bath if I engaged full on baller mode

  • You're thinking too up-market for us! We just used marine ply panelling and some resistant paint... we then used a (gasp) shower curtain as there's another shower head in the ceiling. Actually quite a cheap (small) bathroom in the end... ~£3,500k
