I played around with different mixes when I was making katsu curry - this is what I ended up with, which worked pretty well (in measures of roasted & ground seeds / powder)
1 cumin
2 coriander
1 chilli
1 turmeric
1 ginger
1 pepper
0.5 fenugreek
1 black mustard
