• I sadly have to say goodbye to my wonderful racer. I bought it off a friend many years ago and used it as a commuter bike for about 5 years. It's been a joy to ride – it's so damn fast – but I now have a neck problem and can't use deep drop bars any longer. So the bike has just been sitting around and it's a shame as someone should be enjoying it. I'd like to find it a new loving home and the right owner who could restore it to its former glory. A cyclist friend told me this forum might be the place to find such a person.

I've done regular maintenance on it and replaced things like, chain, cassette, cables, break pads. The shifters are however original. One of them (for the front) wasn't working when I bought it and the other one has become a little temperamental over the years. For more details on make and model of parts, pls see comments by Philbythesea below (thanks mate!) or ask me for more detailed pics.

    Steer tube: 14cm
    Seat tube: 57cm
    Top tube: 52cm
    Wheel: 27in

The photo with the white bar tape is from the day I bought it and silver bar tape is now (I know, I know, the bike is facing the wrong way!). I'm happy to take more measurements or photos or even video for anyone interested. Just let me know.

    Scroll down for more photos.

£250 (collection only from Clapton, east London)
