Morning! Is this still up for grabs? Could I try it out this afternoon?

Sorry,
Just saw this now. Yes it's still available. As written above it is currently at my work in Dalston. I'll be there tomorrow Afternoon if that works for you. -

Oh gosh sorry I missed this! I am in Hackney on Weds morning - could be there after 11. Does this suit you?

Hey Jonas, hope you're good! My brother can come and see it this morning and tomorrow morning (Tues and Weds) if either of these work for you? Maybe if we swap numbers we can organise the time and details? Cheers!

Literally a couple of days ago I got the urge for one of these again.
At 6' 5" I'm guessing it's either really not gonna work or look super clownbikelike -

Happy for you to try it though.

Hi! Just wondered how heavy this is?
-
• #12
Pretty sure it was ~8kg in the setup in the last picture. Now with mudguards, brake and other forks it will be slightly heavier.

New lowered price and updated pick up location.
£325 pick up in SE17
With all the bike theft going on at the moment it could be quite handy to have a bike you can easily take inside. I even did that for supermarkets.

I had one of these about 10 years ago. Great fun but creaky as fuck.
-
• #15
Strange, mine doesn't seem to have that problem. The only thing you can hear is the drive train.

Build this as a fun project and used it to commute and to get to the gym. It was great with the limited space in a shared flat because you can just fold the handlebars to the side and put it flat against a wall.
I have moved now, the commute is longer and I am back on a full sized bike but this is still a super fun and versatile bike.
It is based on a Dahon Mu Uno but I have changed and upgraded most of the parts to flash it out and reduce some weight.
The gear ratio is 48 x 13 which translates to approx. the same Gear Inches as 48 x 18 on 700c x 25mm wheels.
For sizing: I am about 183cm / 6ft and there is a little bit more extension on the seat post if you are taller but I'd say ideally you are not.
It is currently set up in commuter mode with Mudguards, steel forks and a front brake.
I will also add the following extra bits:
Comes without pedals as everybody installs their own anyways.
Really difficult to price this, the hardly used wheelset was over £200 on its own, but I also understand that this is kind of a very niche bike. I m gonna try my luck with
£350£325.If you have questions shot away.
Pickup in SE17 preferred.
