I have an irrational hatred of the kind of lids that require an additional internal seal in order to function. See: cheap plastic orange juice or milk cartons that have that foil covered plastic seal under the screw-on lid.
It's fucking annoying that that you have to go through the faff of removing it to get to your drink but it also signals that once you've removed it, taken the first drink and replaced the cap, the lid won't function as an effective seal. Any horizontal storage of the resealed carton will inevitably result in a puddle of milk in the salad tray.
