I don't have any pics that would help you sadly - the room it's in is the last one we're doing up so it's in a state of disrepair and the serif is just plonked down in the corner : /
all the cables (power + aerial) on my edition are run up one of the legs - they give you a little doofer to help with this

You should be able to squeeze a 40" into a 90cm alcove.

just don't have a tv - problem solved!

Have you also done something about your DSL filter dangling from the socket?

Really? All the ones I've seen are at least 100cm across.

Ha, its actually a leaf, in the foreground.

Yeah, removed it, and have fibre routed through the cabinet.

Does the interface still have ads in it? It's my other grudge against the Samsung products.
-
• #39111
ohhhhhhh does it? Mine never did but its an older UI (and kinda sluggish).

This is 901mm https://www.richersounds.com/panasonic-tx40hx800b.html (I have the previous year's model which is virtually identical to fit in a similar alcove).

Just ordered the kitchen appliances, quartz worktop and sink/taps. Whole thing for £9,103
All you £40k kitchen creatures should be spending that extra £31k on a Rolex that will go up in value.

Famously so. Just done a google and there's a 16 page thread on the Samsung support forum about it lol.
My TV purchasing has been on long term hold as our current box fits our alcove perfectly, but I am keen to upgrade when we move to whatever mansion we eventually close on. Ads are a dealbreaker for me which is a pain as the Samsungs do look tasty.

Quartz is always considerably cheaper than mechanical.

Yeah I wouldn't want ads either... maybe its only on later versions or maybe its within Samsung apps? TBH we dont really use the Samsung UI so I may have missed them.

Really like those Serif TVs and the Samsung Frame. Have been mulling over getting one but ads in the interface is a bit galling...
How do people control their sky box etc when hidden away in a cabinet? I've got an IR repeater and Harmony Universal remote but it's temperamental to say the least

I have the ads and you never notice them
-
• #39121
can't say I notice the ads if there are any. from a quick google, looks like they show up on the left-most tab on the home bar. most of the time you're navigating to and between the various apps on the home bar and I don't really highlight that tab. will take a look on my set again tonight. I'd say I was p sensitive to ads too

Wish Sony made an updated version of this one

Small kitchen
About the same as other TV's, maybe a bit better.
We have a sounder now that sits o the cabinet behind.
