Adidas fucked up there... Looks like they've just used the old formula that worked for some of their early Skateboarding shoes - choose an old popular football or tennis shoe shape and convert for new sport. However, in doing so they've lost the shape of the shoe completely. The round toe box makes is probably the killer.
