  • I have the switch but expect you would get very similar results with the clever - the whole immersion element reduces variability, right? I was using a standard V60 before I got it and not having to start sourcing different filters etc is nice and I just prefer the way the Hario looks.

  • Is the idea with the switch to grind courser than a normal V60, allowing a longer steep followed by a relatively quick draw down? I wouldnt want to buy anything that required more expensive or difficult to source papers than the V60 already requires.

  • Yeah, exactly that. I quite like it, makes a good cup and feels like it needs a bit less attention than the standard v60 which is nice when running around getting things together in the morning.
