Thru axle wheels. Will they become the standard on mid-range and higher road bikes and road wheels in the next 5 years?
UTFSB, didn't find it discussed. Any thoughts?
Edit- and are they worth it on a road bike today?
Edit2- had asked if thru axles have any benefits other than making disc brakes a bit safer, but then I fell down a tubular/clincher/tubeless rabbit hole... Apparently rim brakes are holding us all back (no pun intended)?
