Saddle is deceiving, was worried it looked a bit chunky in photos before it arrived but it’s a lot nicer in real life.
Will take on board your suggestion, still trying to get everything perfect in that area, decided to space the steerer for now until I’d figured out how much to cut off. Do agree the hoods would be more comfy higher up as where they meet currently is not as smooth as it could be.
Thank you anyhow!

Thank you!
Like riding on clouds coming from 25s at high psi. I wouldn’t go back.

Nice! I toyed with the idea of going for a bright colour, but settled on this in the end. Look forward to seeing your build.

Great job on this bike, man. Love it.
The 42 seems a bit limiting to me. 42/28 is quite tought (at least for me) for regular road riding (in Belgium), let alone with luggage. I'm quite sure it's not possible to mount a smaller ring on these cranks though. If you want vintage cranks and small bcd, campagnolo victory/triomphe is an option. Then you could install a 36 or even 34 Miche chainring, I think.
But it looks great now, so if you're ok with this gearing, just keep it as it is. The polished cranks looks gorgeous, especially with those anodised rings.

Looking good paps. Cheshire friendly gearing.

Depends which part of Cheshire you're in. Got the 'killer mile' not far from my front door, and 'brickworks'.

Not exactly Yorkshire though eh.

No, but that's a positive thing in my book.

Cheshire does lack the density of climbs we have in Yorkshire, but the killer mile is pretty savage. It's got that classic go perpendicular to the contour lines, no matter how tightly packed-ness of a classic tough British climb.
As an aside, it's my partner's brother's local climb & takes himself pretty seriously as an athlete, but I take some solace in the fact that he'll never beat my time up there, heh.

Hi, I also have a 2019 Champagne-colored Bob Jackson bike. It currently has some paint eruptions, (paint failure) on the top tube. Do you know what color I would use to get a bottle of touch-up paint? Thank you.

This looks incredible.
Did you get a rack fitted in the end?
What a lovely bike - chapeau to you sir. I bet this is dead comfy with the larger tyres?
