Well it’s relatively ‘cheap’ compared to Hackney where many people are moving from. That’s expensive for that part as it’s been ‘done’.
Gone are the days though round here you could swap a one bed in stoke newington for a house. Friends did that 7 years ago, bought for 325 sold 5 years later for 815!?!

That's why Leyton and Leytonstone and then Forest Gate started to get popular and also became too expensive.
And that's why Ilford and Barking are the new Hackney (probably).

That’s pretty much what we did.

Highams park also from Walthamstow

We had a one bed in N16 and now a three in E17 but for more a little more £, but there would have been a sweet spot when our mates moved that it would have been like for like money wise but didn’t want to give up the stoke newington life

New plan that I think makes total sense and really works, I've prob missed something.
Are there dry not-on-the-floor places that you can reach from the bath and shower to hang/dump a towel ?

Why not just more space to get changed or have a plant or storage or whatever? I don't really get the functionality of his'n'hers sinks...
-
• #39034
We've got storage above and below it.
Plenty of space to get changed still, and we wouldn't stick a sink in the corner, so I guess it's between a sink and a plant.
At least an extra sink is functional, and most importantly we like it.

Especially if the shed is included in that 1,040 number :o

If you’ve got hard water. Forget it.

I used to share a sink with @Bainbridge. I’d prefer my own too. Sensible wife.

Oh for sure I didn't mean to come across like telling you otherwise, just trying to understand it. Is it so you have your own personal basin even if it's just you in there or is it so you can use them at the same time?

I really like that bathroom!

Also the idea of a bath I can lay in is bliss.

Total cost £211

Pretty good if that includes the child as well.
But I'd remove that before tiling as it will be hard to get them even.

wow he is big!
excellent MAN work both with sperm and the concrete floor.
-
• #39044
It's so we can use them at the same time. It's not a big issue and we could have easily got by with one, but we have the space in that part of the bathroom and I think it'll be a nice upgrade to what we have currently.

double sink makes lots of sense to me - would love to have the space for one.

Hackney Council are publicly stating that due to the cyber attack and I assume massive demand, they will not be able to process searches before the SDLT holiday ends in April. Having accepted an offer on our flat in Hackney, this is pretty bad news. I assume every buyer will try to negotiate money off when they realise they won't get the discount.

It'll be extended.

Hearing rumours of some parties insisting on simultaneous exchange and completion. Anyone who has bought/sold recently or know someone who has care to share their experience of this being a thing? If so, what are the pros/cons?
Mmmm. £ square foot on that is quite wild.
