Thanks. He did that, they said bend it with a mech alignment tool, no heat needed. Just a bit tougher to do than steel. Requires more force and springs back a bit more.
Here's one for ya. A mate has bought a ti frame and the mech hanger is slightly bent (see pics). If it was steel obviously it would bend back without an issue. Aluminium wouldn't be worth the risk.
Question is, can you bend titanium back without needing to heat treat it afterwards? Google suggests maybe nae. Or that is needs an hour @ 450'C or something.
