So... £3k 2020 MBP, bricked by Apple's own hand, takes up to 19 working days to return to service.
Buying an Apple device has proven to be the worst tech purchase I've made. Currently on an old ThinkPad that is rock solid.
Once this is repaired I'm inclined to sell it and divest myself of Apple stuff.
Yeah thats not great. I haven't had any issues with my Apple stuff over my 20 years using it.
I guess it would be easier if there wasn't a global pandemic and you could go into store...
Still sucks though.
This sounds like a huge pain in the arse and likely just bad luck.
If you just need a web browser for work then maybe the Apple tax isn’t worth it. At least a Thinkpad can be repaired easily...
