ha! no, it is indexed fine enough just find the feel of apex a bit off. always have - even when it was set up by my lbs ; )

Er, yes. You bought SRAM when you already had experience of Shimano.

There's a lot to like about SRAM, but nobody ever said it was as slick as Shimano.
