I remember someone on here with SRAM hydros also having a similar issue but it was a screw working its way loose somewhere under the hood.
The reach adjustment of one of my Apex hydros tends to loosen up over bumps. That makes the braking a lot softer.
Just had a play with the Contact point adjustment and couldn’t really find any discernible difference. Maybe I’m not being brave enough with how many turns it’s safe to make
