    Nope. The case finishing is different as well though, the tops of the lugs are brushed on the OP and polished on the DJ, so a fully brushed oyster bracelet might look out of place even if you could fit it.

    Some people go and get the centre links brushed though.

  • We'll see how it goes. I might have to go vintage then as they did datejusts that came with brushed oyster bracelet, correct? 16200 for instance.

  • I feel that if you like the midsized brushed oyster thing then OP or a 36 mm Explorer is the way unless you really, really want the date and cyclops. The DJ is much showier, it kind of needs to have the jubilee and (to an extent) the fluted bezel to be a Datejust. If you’re going to Datejust, especially a modern one, you kind of need to own it. Vintage ones that aren’t so aggressively shiny are a lot easier to dress down but you don’t get the fit and finish of the modern ones.
