Never had discount off of a watch in store but helped an old work colleague out with a real good deal with something from my work, then was eyeing up the newish Seamaster in white (never been a modern Seamaster fan, more 1960, but they got me with this one) and then recalled that he worked for Goldsmiths and they stocked it. Prefer the rubber strap as I've got thin wrist, like the bracelet too but the clasp looks so bulky and not refined to me. Anyway, he offered me 9% discount. I thought that was kinda low, or are they getting real tight on it now?? Maybe he just doesn't like me that much, ha. Didn't expect anything major but maybe it's because its quite a new version.
