Are they smooth on the 600?

Fuck I didn't even notice. My hands are just scar tissue and dead nerves so that's no unexpected.

Ok, Servo Wave is just their lever throw bollocks. Yeah, it's a bit different but nothing I wouldn't adjust to in minutes. I ride so many bikes in so many different configurations I barely notice stuff like that.

That's the same as R7000/8000 stuff.. Which is great! Why Shimano, why did you have to get weird?
Also, same bar tape.. Is the Lifeline Pro the officially approved Arkose of bar tape?

GRX shifters are nice!
Have you tried R8070 shifters yet? Trying to decide whether to fit R8070 to my new gravel bike or go the full Radavist and get some GRX.

go the full Radavist
Then you need Klampers and suitable brake levers.

It’s a Profile Design bar tape, our go-to bar tape for customers bicycle.

Crust Palm Oil, my man. Klampers are out. Get the hottest new thing in town.

OK, semi-Radavist. Di2 and hydro brakes are non-negotiable.

You're obviously more hip than me. I think I need to have a read and I'll report back, possibly with questions.

I don't get why they're 280 usd? Is it the palm oil or just ordinary Crust-tax?

I like the slightly flatter and more square grx lever. I find it easier to pull on that the road lever. Some dont like the hoods but I honestly wouldnt know which I was riding.
Summary, for off road I like grx. I also ride my grx bike on road all the time now too.
Grx and road are all servowave https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/technologies/component/details/servo-wave-action.html

"They're much better than the 785s they replaced and probably better than the Ultegras on the Mason."
R8070 are the Ultegras I have on the Mason, right? I think I like the taller GRX shape, at least on steep off-road stuff. I actually was going to tilt my bars a bit on the Mason to bring the end of the shifters up a little bit (without full retape). Do you have big hands? If so I reckon you'll like the GRX

1x is marketing
I guess my bike didn't count until the bars flared.
