Don't think I posted my tandem in the thread yet. It replaced a very functional ableit rather boring Koga touring tandem. I have a SRAM Apex groupset to go on this. Just need to find the time to fit it. Also need to figure out how the disc brakes work.

Formula hydros, but indeed ancient. Cable actuated somehow. With mathing Formula carbon hubs and 4 bolt rotors.

Here is a picture of the disc brake actuator on the Bianchi. Looks identical, the only difference being it is fitted directly to the caliper.

Love it all, specially the massive, motocross-esque swept area of these early discs, and the funky cranks with "Mr. B" written on the chainrings.
The frame & fork tabs and positioning for the calipers are very elegant.
