Beg someone on here with a van to go pick it up with you and offer them a McDonalds breakfast as a thank you. Usually works for me*.
*never actually tried it.

I've used shiply a couple of times...had a couple of pieces of furniture moved from Kent and Surrey to London - costs were 40 quid and 60 (more expensive one needed 2 ppl to collect and was from the first floor)

I've just had two sofa's collected and driven 100miles with Anyvan. The rates were good, there was tracking throughout and the sofa's arrived without a scratch. There were lots of blankets in the back of the van and the guys brought the sofas into our living room, without being asked.

I need to have a g plan sideboard picked up from Bucks and brought to London. It's not small 46cm (W), 206cm (L) and 78cm (H) and wondering what the best option to get it brought in without too much damage to the furniture or my wallet. Any suggestions gratefully received
