If it’s not extremely stuck on, and you don’t mind risking the crankset and BB, you can try applying liberal amounts of penetrant WD40 and then gently hitting the crank arm outward with a mallet, on the underside of the arm. If that doesn’t work, you can wipe off the excess fluid and apply heat to the crankset with a hair dryer or boiling water, then tapping the crankset again. It’s sometimes enough to loosen it off.
Edit-small auto shops might have a gear puller and might be willing to have a go for £

I'll wait and see if I can get it off with a tool before I consider heat and sacrificing it.
Thank you

I have something less finesse and bit more crude - a wedge which you slide between the crank arm and the BB and hammer down. It lives at the bottom of my tool box in SE1 and you're happy to have it but it needs to be returned before the sun sets... ;)

Does anyone have a head tube reaming/facing tool with a 30.1mm cutting bit for a 1"?
Bit of a long shot I know; need to get a 1" JIS-sized frame reamed to fit an ISO headset and all bike shops are fully-booked...
Happy to use on-site if that's possible.
Many thanks in advance!

I need to re-tap my bottle & rack cage holes after a recent powdercoat.
Does anyone in East London have an M5 tap I could borrow? or a link for something cheap I can order online?

Morning all, does anyone have a 3 arm puller to remove a crank arm that's stripped?
Or any other tool that will do the job?
I saw this and it looks easy enough https://youtu.be/jrpIoXxVyTs?t=193
this is the product https://www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Gear-Puller-indoor-outdoor/dp/B009FDC80I
I can come to you with a frame and do it there and then if that's easier.
Thank you
