It looks like 12mm nipples are about right for that rim. So I guess I’m looking for confirmation on 3x or 4x and spoke length?

I would go for 3x. With 4x the spokes almost overlap the spoke heads

Thanks that makes sense.

The information for both hub and rim in the above links are off slightly.
Putting the measurements from the hub, which I have, into mavic’s spoke length calculator I’m getting 285.43. Given the options of 284mm and 286mm am I best to round up or down?
