now cummings isn't special adviser to the tsar, is there any chance he might get asked to pay all that council tax he owes ? or be forced to demolish that home he built illegally, come on boris you seem like a man who would do something petty and spiteful like this

• #62603
Depends on Princess Nut Nuts I’d imagine..
-
• #62604
it's little wonder boris has got fuck all done in his time as prime minister, he's permanently replying to texts from her,
sorry excuse me mr barnier i have to take this
-
• #62605
What’s this about?
-
• #62606
Apparently its Cummings' moniker for Carrie Symonds and she texts Johnson 25 times an hour with policy advice...
-
• #62607
To be fair, he'd probably need her to text him 50 times an hour.

Interesting or tinfoilhat.

Tin foil hat, people are overly obsessed with his dead cats. If Cummings crashed his car and killed himself or pissed himself in the street first response on Twitter would be DEAD CAT what’s he trying to distract us from!

A few people have made the point that it's a deliberate choice for him to leave via the front door with the box, that was 100% a choice made with the intention to be photographed but to what ends, only time will tell I guess

a box with a giant "Q" on it!

All the press this weekend reporting Allegra Stratton crying is such basic misogyny. Even the Guardian are at it.

It's a bit grim

Does anyone believe that the little soap opera they enacted is really what happened in No 10?
I don't want to sound the conspiracy klaxon, but it seems to me so obviously a distraction from the bigger political picture. I don't for one second believe that Johnson's relationship with Cummings (or Cain) is suddenly so damaged. Firstly, Cummings is going to continue 'working from home' for the duration that he was meant to continue at No 10, and secondly, Johnson has apparently said that he wants to 'get the band back together' for the next elections. That doesn't sound to me as if there's currently a very deep divide. I mean, I don't doubt that Stratton's probable desire to take complete control of the press operation would have caused tensions, but it seems much more likely to me that there's been some influence from Biden's election.

I'm not sure what to think. The sad story bit sounds a bit put on surely you suspect this people are toxic areseholes that won't go gently?
Rumours of macho bollocks may have some substance though.
Cain was very abrasive, many advisors dismissed due to his control freak rule Boris went along with were female and Cummings forced out Javid Jaid"s former advisor and rang the police on her.
Some say Boris sent him off because backbenchers also got fed up with him. Might be Boris trying to save himself from angry missus and angry backbenchers.
Not so sure it's the end of Cs toxic legacy.

Surely the right wing Tories are gonna turn on Boris as soon as he's got Brexit over the line and can take the blame for it. Maybe this is all about tkaing out his infrastructure so that the January coup can be easier?
-
• #62620
I didn't expect Boris to last after Brexit once the problems really start especially not with his additional shambles of a Covid handling.
In this case perhaps Cummings and his mate just pissed off a different group of the wrong people?
-
• #62621
Boris is self isolating after contact with someone positive
-
• #62622
That's unlucky considering he put Typhoid Dido in charge of Track&Trace to ensure it was ineffective.
-
• #62623
I don't doubt that it's real. However, I wonder if he gets to stay out of the room of any Brexit negotiations again with this?

Horrible news about Martyn
