Alternatively:
Click 'Upload a file' at the bottom of the reply box and select a file to upload, there's a 30mb limit and the size limits still apply.
The convenient uploading method is not working reliably for me using the Firefox 83.0.3 (64 bit) Web browser running under Manjaro Linux. It takes multiple attempts and may or may not eventually upload an image. One workaround seems to be to use Google Chrome for posting/editing messages with uploaded images, which appears to work fine.

It's been an issue for some time. What I usually do is just to click on 'Upload a file' and select the file several times before clicking 'Post reply'. It's a little annoying but still a damn sight better than the upload function ever was in vBulletin, as that was a total pain.

Do you think this image rotation upload issue is a forum or an iphone thing? I only have this issue when attaching to the forum.

iPhone bug in the reduce resolution feature, it strips the exif information saying how the image is rotated

Does the upload function ever work from an Android phone? If not, how do people post a photo from their phone? I use imgur on my PC but I can't get it to work on my Android phone.
