Ta jaw. Yeah it's cold... Locals wandering about in jumper and jeans I'm wrapped up in puffa jacket hat scar. I got to used to HK climate. Listening to sports report/ final score on radio 5 made me smile on sat.

The alternative choice was Kante and that is just too high a bar on or off the pitch.

Anyone ever wonder if football transfer rumours were the original fake news? I remember folks on an everton forum I used to frequent would send in various nonsense rumours on transfer deadline day to see if we could get any on the BBC or talksport. Inevitably the majority ended up making the 'sightings' so ridiculous they were clearly nonsese, but I think a couple did eventually get a few rumours on to reputable sites.

There are hundreds of football journalists out there. Even the principal "Fleet Street" titles employ a significant number between them before we start to consider the numerous websites and broadcast media outlets. Some of these football journalists are staff writers with a salary; some are freelancers They all need to produce column inches to justify their income or to earn anything.
The close season is long. They can't just pop off on holiday. They have jobs to do. Even during the football season, their match reports alone won't keep bread on the table. They need to write about other stuff.
Occasionally one or two will have sufficient sources within clubs or close to players to provide scoops but, by and large, speculation is the only avenue open to them. and the safest form of speculation is transfer rumours.
And that is why the papers and websites are full of it.

Greg Clarke. Massive twat. (Now confirmed.)
What I found shocking is that he is younger than me.
His views and his face suit someone twenty years older and suffering from dementia

There used to be a guy who did great previews of Chelsea games not so long ago, but he seemed to disappear overnight...
