yeah it's hard, i currently don't have a wide enough 650b/c rim (that also has front thru axles to fit a wider tyre.
but the isen folks are pretty adamant that it throws off the handling. So my current setup of some dt-swiss 650 wheels with 30c g-ones is meant to be 'optimal' ... and they insist going 26" for anything wider.
but perhaps I will find some adapters for my novatec wheels (from my surly, fitted with 38c g-ones and give it a whirl).
ps. I saw the Isen crash over on the isen thread hope rider/bike are okay!

This is why we run 650b on Kat's small Isen instead of 26" or 650c. There's a much greater choice of tyres and there's enough clearance for the slightly larger wheel.
