To be honest they are fucked school kids whose middle class parents have bought them everything off the DofE list. Then expected to haul 20kg of kit for a Bronze for one night.

Yeah, heavy seems harsh. If mini-rhb ever has to do this she'll be issued with a Lanshan-1 tent, PHD bag, and barebones 22g meths stove all to be carried in her jacket pockets.

Last few visits to Kinder there's always been a DofE group playing shitty music up there to brighten their day. There's always one sulking 50yds behind the others too. Probably because of the music.
Maybe when they're older they'll all return to listen to the Skylarks.
