  • Just carefully file a bit of the dropout away and paint with gloss enamel.

As previously mentioned, my genuine Pace RC31 also fouled the rotor bolts like this until I did the above.

  • Almost :)

  • Looks fun, what're your next plans?

  • Think this is done at last. Just need to pull the backing paper off the Ride Slow Die Whenever decal.

  • Very nice, makes me sad about my GT ;-(

I like these tyres btw, feel fast!

  • Ur setup is quite similar to my sons bike, decathlon dynamo etc 😊
(Since this picture was taken I’ve moved the light to the same position that you have it here)

  • eyyy, yours wins tho because it has bmx cockpit

  • brake cabling was a piece of piss

  • Cinelli vai bar n stem with some fresh cloth tape, then new chain and wheels, maybe a nice riser set up for the summer

  • Very nice indeed. And a great wall for measuring the scoblebricks.

  • Your bike always look great Joe.

    Nice wall BTW

  • Love this, peak functional!

Nice to see another Stridsland chainring in here too.

  • Fond memories bro

  • Anyone on 'ere have a Kestrel 4000 or 200sci?

  • Probably not the most ideal bike to put mudguards on but at least I have some and when/if I ride trough the winter period at least my bum will be protected from the damp elements.

Thanks to @spotter for recommending these sks raceblade long

  • Carbon does nothing to me, but this is really really nice!

  • Finally started getting into this new bike for my girlfriend... Ribble 653, bought on here a couple of months ago from @tmrshl

Just waiting on a rear derailleur with a longer cage and probably some new pedals. Shame not to keep the full Tricolore groupset but hills are hills. I've changed both chainrings, bars, stem, tape, cages, cassette, and cables (yellow!). Mostly new stuff but also one or two things from her old bike.

It has some really beautiful details like the shot stays and internal routing holes.
    Excuse the terrible photography!

  • building up the somec has given me the confidence (and tools) to tackle some jobs I'd previously have handed off to the bike shop, so... I'm servicing my rear 6800 hub and I find out it doesn't have the interior seal wth. can only think the bike shop forgot to put it back in when they last serviced. looks like I can get replacement parts easily enough

  • there were some sprint events in my city during the summer for single speed/fixed bikes and they made me realise how much i missed riding mah sweet fixeh.. so i revived it and decided to give flat bars a go (also tried risers, but those made me feel like a negative sail..)

also, here it is in its sprint-guise:

    (pic by Tamás G.)

  • wheels dragging / not spinning fully freely after hub service - assume that means I've put the cone back on too tight

  • somec elite SX ? completed it, mate
