• I don't think it's that bad as a starting point. If you're able to pack some spacers on the inside of the plate where the pedal hoos you can probably bring it closer a bit (if the pedal axle allows)

  • wouldn't be able to pack spacers - it's tight with those pedals. A wood block under each wheel should do it though. There is a support supplied for the front wheel to keep it straight and bear the load, but it has no thickness to it.

    I think i was just going through the initial shock of how imposing it is having a bike on the wall. Have semi got used to it already. I've got 4 bikes to go up though. I need to sort my life out. Intention is to keep them all on the same wall (2 x 2) so that at least the bike mess is confined to one space. And then talk myself into selling two. I wish I had a basement....
