Unless you’re really desperate for a fully traditional build, threadless will be significantly stiffer and lighter. You can get some nice silver stems, or just stick with the black stem/silver post classic combo. Of course you can always thread it later if you change your mind.
Mario Vaz’ name usually comes up for paint jobs in London.
Recently acquired this from the states - original Serotta F1 fork.
Which as far as I know was one of the three options available when purchasing a frame new, the others being a Kinesis aluminium or Wound Up.
I wanted to ‘restore’ my Atlanta as it currently has the kinesis fork. Seller also supplied the small ‘S’ decal for either side of the fork crown.
Anyone have any advice on where to get it repainted? Was thinking to attempt myself but unsure of the quality of job I could ultimately achieve ツ
Secondly, I’m torn between cutting the steerer and getting it threaded or running it threadless, which will require new stem.
