Resilion Problems
I've just refound this photo which shows a method of dealing with the cable problem.
Although it's not elegant it does work.
The straddle cable is just an ordinary brake cable with a solderless nipple on the right hand side, and the return springs (just visible in the photo) are from Campag rear fork end stops.
This method would be useful where the frame is not drilled for a caliper brake spindle - as mentioned above somewhere recently.
