Doing beading in my bay window involved a lot of cursing, cutting things, offering them up and discovering the angle was backwards.

Incidentally, I have a maths degree.

I see your maths degree and raise you carpentry :)

Same problem with electricity. Design and installation is all maths but when you have your head in a consumer unit it's hard to keep the numbers in your head.
